I’m more or less a compulsive traveller, although I’m supposed to be a writer. In UK at present (July) then heading to Nigeria to get to the southern Sahara via Sokoto. Really want to see the tiny villages of the southern desert rather than the sand-oceans that you get in all the films. Definitely not tourist country but will no doubt be an experience!
